The most important thing to keep in mind when adding or renovating a bathroom is to be aware of the end goal. If you want to get new cabinets for your bathroom, and you know that's all you want, then you want to make sure that you match your cabinets to the rest of the space that they're going in. And if you think that one day you might want to completely renovate your house, bathroom, or kitchen, then you need to plan for that as well. So, first tip, figure out the long term goal and plan accordingly. 

Picking the Right Size
Obviously, you want to make sure you pick the right size cabinet for an area that you spend a lot of time in. But picking the right size is not always as easy as you might think. There are several things that should be considered when deciding on the size of your bathroom cabinets. The first thing you want to think about is the size of your entire bathroom. The size of the space you're putting the cabinet in determines how much freedom you have when picking the size of your cabinet. And just because the cabinet fits in the bathroom, doesn't mean that it will look good or be practical (we can make sure it works/looks great :)). Another thing you will want to consider is how much storage you need. Single bachelors require much less storage than a mother with 4 kids. You don't want to end up in a situation where you got exactly what you wanted visually, but you can't fit all of your stuff in it. 

Materials
Material is one of, if not the most important thing to consider before you choose your cabinets. There are all sorts of materials out there to choose from. Some are durable and expensive, some are less durable but more affordable, and everything in between exists as well.
